About Hawaiian Red Alaea Clay:
Alaea is the Hawaiian word for their red clay. Hawaiian red clay is red because of its mineral rich and high iron contents. It is harvested deep in the Maui Upcountry forest on the slopes of Haleakala, gently washed, stone ground by hand, sun and dried.
This Hawaiian clay is formed from an ancient volcanic ash deposit found deep in the rainforest of Maui, Hawaii, where it has been purified for thousands of years by sacred springs and the gentle rains of the islands.
Pelotherapy, is using healing clay or mud for detoxification, wellbeing, and increased purity of spirit. This clay is quite powerful in drawing toxins from the skin, I saw a difference in my face after only one use.
The high mineral content, combined with the healing power of volcanic ash, makes it ideal for cleansing and purification. The clay’s neutral pH levels allow your skin to heal, then maintain its fresh, natural glow, while helping to protect your skin over time with its high content of phosphorous and magnesium.
