Ingredients
- 1-1/2 cups kidney beans -- soaked, boiled, and drained OR canned and rinsed
- 1/2 cup pecans, broken up
- 1/2 onion, chopped
- 1-2 cloves of garlic, crushed
- 1 egg
- 2 TBSP of flour -- your choice, I used organic wheat flour
- 1-2 TBSP chopped parsley
- 1-2 tsp mustard
- chili powder to taste
- 1-2 tsp cumin powder
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Instructions
Mix all ingredients together in a bowl. Form into patties and fry in oil. I fried my in a combination of coconut and olive oil.
These fried up and stayed together in a solid burger nicely!
