Ingredients
- Ghee
- Kapha churna
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 large carrots sliced
- 1 stalk of celery, diced
- 2 quarts of vegetable stock
- Dandelion or mustard greens
- Mushrooms (sliced shiitakes are good)
- 1/2 cup of barley
- 1 tsp thyme
- 1 bay leaf
Instructions
In a large soup pot, sauteĢ in a little ghee the kapha churna, onion, carrots and celery.
Add the vegetable stock, greens, mushrooms, barley, thyme and bay leaf.
Cover and simmer for about 1 hour.
